Cleaning under cowl under wipers

Has anyone had to or wanted to clean under the cowl under the wipers?
Does it get allot of stuff in there from trees etc?

 

It’s common to get debris under there that gets caught by your cabin filter.

I'd better replace and clean cabin filer, than go for troubles disassembly that.

 

I took cabin filter out and it had some of the debris from the trees particles falling down on it. . I will look into taking the cowl out later this weekend to see if anything heavy is in there.

 

I am going to do this when I get home next month,.

 

Invest in a good wiper arm puller.

 

I have a little puller for small thing like this. Makes life easy.
But, I thought this was unbolt, and bring it back to wiggle it off. Its actually tight?
