So question guys, I am new to the 4Runner life and just got my first one which is a 1990 4Runner 3.0 V6 and am wanting to make it an off-road rig. I’m planning on starting with a Lift of about 5 inches and attempting to put 35s under it.
1st question would 35s fit with a 5 inch lift?
2nd question lockers, do you guys run front and rear lockers or just a rear locker? I live in an area where there a lot mountains and snow.
3rd Question where do you guys go to find your bumpers for the front and rear and rock sliders?

Welcome. Unless you plan on regearing, I would not go bigger than 33's with maybe a 3 or 4 inch suspension lift. If you really want to go 35's then you would probably want to SAS and regear it and go front and rear locker. Good luck.

This. . Do your homework first before deciding on it. As for gearing, it all depends on what is there now. 2nd Gens came with either 4:56 or 4:88 depending on wheels size. How you drop your spare will tell you which you have. If you are lucky and have the exterior spare then it is 4:88. If you have the 4:88's you would probably be fine up to 35's. Keeping it at 33's would be even better.
