When the headlights are turned on, like when its raining, or snowing, during the daytime, The dash-clock goes dim. even if if i set the dimmer to full "on". The dash lights are bright, the center multi media stack is bright, but the clock is dim. No adjusting will make it bright. Is this normal?

Unfortunately that’s the way it is and there’s no way around it.
I hate it because if it’s overcast or snowing, I do turn my low beam on but the clock and temperature display are very dim which makes it hard to see what it says at a glance

Its your truck's way of saying "you can't control me!" And giving you the finger. Lol. ( And read that with a neck flip and all)

If one of our resident electrical wizards could figure out how to tie those two displays into the regular dash display, problem solved. Otherwise, we'll all have to live with it.

It wouldn't be much to find the illumination wire on the radio and just t-tap a jumper to the clock dimmer.
