I was looking to buy a 4 runner and there is a nice one but I see this
Is it rusted or rotted out the frame ??

Note: I live in Montreal Canada. And seems like everywhere they use salt for the winter and every 4 runner I’m seeing is in similar shape, is any of this salvageable

the rest of the truck looks pretty good but is this spot a deal breaker, I’ve seen worse in my opinion in the area I’m living and not sure about it yet considering I’m planning on keeping the 4runner (when I get one ) for a very long time.
Let me know about it please. Thanks again my people’s

Run. This is not going to last a long time like you want.

Walk away slowly as to not disturb the rust Gods. And definitely don't look back.

Big yikes. Surface rust can be handled, this needs a new frame. Chunks are literally missing.
