None. Bone Stock. EXCEPT: Brushguard, tow hitch, both welded to the frame. It's good to have friends and a fully equipped garage!

They took it off 1/2 way between the knee and the ankle. Once I get the prosthetic, I get to learn to walk again. Happy friggen Holidays to me, huh?

take care, all! Oh, yeah. My 4Runner is a MT, so no more driviving it for me..

Dude stop smoking cigarettes PLEASE! Vape 6% nicotine. You remind me of “Snake Bliskin”. First it’s an eye.

I’m sorry to hear this and I can understand the frustration. Not personally, but my partner at work lost his left leg, like you, half way down his shin. He lost in in a motorcycle accident last may. The process is not easy, but he is now a full functioning officer in the central division of San Diego. We are by far the busiest in our department.

The frustration is real, but so is recovery. This fool went and bought another Harley the week he got out of the hospital. He shattered his hips in the accident so he was 100% in his wheel chair when he bought his new bike.

It absolutely slowed him down…..for awhile. Not anymore. We tease him and he loves it. I hid his work leg today :D.

Attitude, attitude, attitude. “When life knocks you down, get back up, wipe your self off and say, ‘you hit like a bitch’”

First pic is his first leg (I think he is on number 4 not counting his running leg)…second is his first ride on his new Harley. I think it sat more than 6 months before he got to ride it.

Godspeed, good sir!! Keep your head up!

Patrick, Sorry to hear the crappy news. I too am diabetic and been 'consumed' with taking care of my feet and legs in fear that something like this may happen. You seem like a person that doesn't give up easily, and though it may seem like... now what? I'm sure you will improvise, adapt, and overcome! Hang in there, when you get that new 4Runner with the auto tranny, you'll be back at it. Keep on keepin' on, Semper Fi Bro.

I'm sorry to hear that, Pat. I hope your recovery and re-learning is quick and not too frustrating.

Doing amazingy well, thank you! I'm well on my way to getting my prosthesis. I'll be able to walk again, drive my 99 4Runner manual trans, and, best IMO, stand up to pee again! Men just arent meant to sit down for that.
