I haven't done much research lately, but had anybody discover how to make aftermarket switches light up when you turn on your headlights or Market lights? I don't want to go out of my way to make a whole form about it if it's been discovered, but I know how to do it the simple way I just don't want to go out of my way share the information if somebody else has already figured it out LOL. If that's not the case I can show you how to....let me know people I been holding back on making this post for over a year now

Just tap into the illumination circuit.

Wait — so you have some useful information to share, but you’re too lazy to post it and will only do so if someone else doesn’t step up? Don’t go out of your way, pal. What an inane post.

I second the above as a quick and easy requested way without creating a long form to follow.

Probably talking about switches that are made for vehicle specific fitment such as AirOnBoard switches.

I'd love to hear where people are tapping into the illumination circuit. I added 2 OEM style switches for lighting, but skipped the backlight because I somehow got the impression that the other switches in the area used a switched ground for illumination.

It sure seems odd to go out of your way to start a thread about a topic only to tell people that you don't want to go out of your way to start a thread about the topic. o_O

For switch illumination I tapped into the TAIL fuse (tail lights) on the small cabin fuse panel; whenever my lights are on, my switches are illuminated.

Power to the switch going to the relay comes from different fuse locations depending on the needs of the individual loads.

Also used AirOnBoard switches—every other switch I tried jammed in the slot.

Thank you! I got my switches from Caliraised, and one of them did get stuck a few times. It seems to have stopped doing it, though.
