That does look nice. It looks like you’ve got an SR5 through right? The silver front valence on the TRD off road is part of what gives me pause. I’ve got the kit already though so figure I can always take if off if I’m not feeling it.

That’s the OEM front camera that was available starting in 2022 (I think).

 

Thank you and yes it's an SR5. One of the things I like about the SR5 is the body color bumpers, no valances. In my opinion black or body color valances look so much better.

 

Got a little dirty after a weekend of camping so took some time to get her back to normal. Overspent on the Viair compressor but it sure looks nice and the bag is convenient. Had to adjust the passenger preload so I’m back within 1/4” driver to passenger heights.

Falken Wildpeak AT3W are 2 ply side wall right? Not 3 ply? I bet it would give relatively comfy ride than the 3ply KO2s I had before.

Installed the MESO 4Runner Puddle Switch Kit:

Wasn't too bad of an install.

I was going to reroute the Auto Highbeam button to the lower open slot and place the new Puddle Switch button similar to this from the MESO website:




But the edges/slot of Auto Highbeam button area different and didn't fit into the open slot at the bottom. But puddle button did fit at the bottom open slot. So guess it stays there. Took about 1.5 hrs to finish up.

 

Damn, that looks good! Tire size and wheel off-set, please. And did you do a BMC?

If you consider the key to be a part of the truck, I did modify it today! Got the Meso Customs key fob in Barcelona Red to match my truck.



I like how its actually slightly smaller in size compared to the OEM fob and still retains the spare emergency key inside as well as the waterproof gasket.

 

New 4Runner. Good test today of the Wildpeaks. Lessons learned:

2wd in a rear wheel drive vehicle sucks in snow and ice. Especially uphill.

in 4WD with the Wildpeaks the 4Runner drove great. From accelerating fromdead stop at traffic lights did not get any slip or spin. From starts on incline, no slipping (except my driveway for a second). Going into turns at reasonablespeeds, no slipping.

30 min of driving in this and only had a couple moments of a brief second ofslip/spin. One was going up my inclined iced driveway from a dead stop.

Installed my new set of Method 701 wheels and Toyo MT's in 255/80R17 (on a 2" OME lift).

Thanks! Quiet and smooth, but that's relative, since I'm coming from BFG KM3's. Haha. I removed the front mudflaps and they still rub a bit at full lock, but only on the front plastic, which I'll trim. They clear the body mounts by a wide margin, thank goodness.

Got mine in white. I only wish MESO had the red colored buttons in stock again. Oh well.

 

I entirely agree. I was wanting a black case and red buttons but I'm not too upset about it. Definitely a nice product for the money.

 

Put on the avs bugflector II today took. Took no time at all, definitely takes a little more force to close the hood now. Usually not a fan of hood deflectors but they look nice on the 4Runners

mine came with very dark tinting which I like.

 

Ordered some SCS stealth 6 wheels. Now to decide on tire size and brand. Currently running Wildpeaks and they are an excellent tire but a tad heavy and the price has jumped nearly $100 per tire since I bought them. Was considering the Kumho Road Venture AT52? Has anyone ran it?
