Can anyone share experiences with replacing roof racks and leaks? Not sure what or where to be watching for leaks. Thanks in advance.

If you have any leaks after you install you'd know because the head liner would be wet or the carpet would be wet after a rain storm or a car wash or something similar involving water. The only spots you can have leaks from are the 4 mounting points. You just gotta make sure you put enough sealant in and around the bolt holes as you install so you don't get any leaks.

The only real problem that you have to be super careful with when installing an aftermarket rack is making sure that the mounting plates don't fall into the headboard. Just take your time and back them out at the same time, like 1/8 to 1/4 turn each time until they're both out............AND DO NOT PUSH DOWN WHEN YOU"RE BACKING OUT THE OLD BOLTS. Seen that mistake a few times online.
