Asking a favor of anyone about to do an oil change or otherwise crawling under their Limited.

Would anybody be able to measure the thickness of front sway bar for me? I heard Limiteds have thinner sway bars than the Off Road or SR5 trims (non kdss). i just want to have some numbers to get an idea of how much thinner it actually is.

    thanks!

You sir, rock! May I ask where along the bar you took the measurement? Not sure if the thickness varies along the bar, with all the bends and all.

Took the measurement from drivers side wheel well just before the 90 degree bend

I just measured the sway bar in a couple places on my ORP non-KDSS. It’s 30mm which means it’s smaller than what Polymers found on his Limited.

    Well that’s unexpected. Lol

Do all limiteds come with xreas? Maybe those are the ones with thinner bars. @Polymers , is was yours equipped with xreas?

Hmm, I guess my idea of swapping them out is bust. I’ll post up a measurement of my 21 soon. Meant to get it done earlier, but havent a chance.

On the off chance there are any variations across model years on limited, I welcome others posting their measurement. ,

Sorry, meant to post mine up earlier, but my shoulder got jacked. Sigh…havent even been able to drive.

Anyway, mine measured 29mm before the 90 degree bend innthe wheel well. It’s an off-road trim. So, I guess the limiteds aren’t going to be an option.

Anybody care to measure an SR5? Probably no different, but I’m curious. I want to get a bit more articulation off the front with a thinner bar, instead of removing it entirely.
