Love the color. So happens there’s another one somewhere near the house.
    Otherwise pretty rare.

Ceramic tint (all glass), Toyo AT3s 285/70 C load, Eibach Pro Truck Stage 2 suspension, Ironman UCA, Cartrimhome TRD skid plate, RCI skids (rear diff, transmission, filler plate, catalytic anti theft), SwitchPro 9100 & MT Plate, Caliraised ditch lights & brackets, Caliraised molle panels, Sherpa roof rack, Westcott ladder, Weathertech window visors, Meso & LED interior bulbs, black badging, Weathertech mats, Husky cargo liner, Canvasback rear seat backing, Smittybilt 2781, Morrflate Quad, ARB Diff Breather, Ultimate9, TRD Pro rims, GTR Carbide headlights, DIY Knight Rider light strip.
    Easy mods and relatively cheap:
    • LED interior bulbs, puddle lights, (door and mirror bottoms).
    • Dash mounting bracket. I installed the ICS one with USB port, and added a Ram mount for my phone
    • Hate some of the silver on the interior, so changed the transfer case knob and transmission shifter to all black.
    • Better fitting floor mats, I went with Weather Tech
    • We have a dog, so went with Husky cargo liner, and Canvas Back for back of 2nd row seats
    • Sequential LED turn signals in mirror
    More pricier changes:
    • More offroad capable tires
    • Lift kit. I wish this was the first thing I did before buying my 265/70 sized A/T tires
    • If you plan on adding exterior lights or powered accessories, consider an Auxbeam or Switch Pro set up
    • If you plan on doing offroading, adding a little more protection underneath like a steel diff skid and a beefier steel or aluminum front skid plate
    • Roof rack if you plan hauling stuff or using as a platform
    • Sound system isn’t the greatest, but easy solutions to at least upgrade the speakers

Agree, tires and tint and your good to go. Just drive it as is for awhile and see how it goes. If you drive it stock and then modify, you’ll know if you improved it or not.

Welcome, and nice 4R. As far as suggestions, joining 4Runners.com and asking for suggestions for upgrades is like walking into the grocery store and asking for ideas for food...just look around and grab what you like.

Welcome. If your keeping the stock suspension, no lift, or same tire size, upgrade the factory shocks to Bilstein 5100's all the way around.
You can easily do a front level and the 5100's will stop the trucks nose dive tendencies and help a bit with body roll.

Congrats on the new ride. My first mod was tint. Heat rejection quality was number one for my search of films. If you are not a fan of tint, you can get heat rejection in a basically transparent form. Cheap tint film is not worth it imo. You will get privacy, but lack good heat rejection.

One of my favorite additions are the storage pouches from 4runnerlifestyle LINK

My most recent is the screen protector from screen protech. The dust in the cabin seems to scratch the screen.
