    Rear shock mounts are rusting out on 2001sr5 anyone tried mounting shocks on the outward side of the frame. Thanks

    You'll be limited to narrow shock bodies like a 2.0 unless you run wheel spacers for 2.5

    F150 shock mounts are a popular and budget friendly method for relocating rear shocks

    Have made some copy's of mounts I saw on snowbound customs website. Would have purchased from them but they are out of them and I'm installing new stock shocks and my homemade mounts tomorrow. Purchased brackets from A&A suspension and welding them to plates. Thank you for your comment

    Would not trust self tapping screws,snowbound customs mounts are made better and in stock now for the about the same price.Thanks for the link. I got covid delayed install of homemade mounts.I ordered the mounts from SB customs and they are nice.Cant wait to install them. Would recommend them to anyone with rusted rear shock mounts.

    its 5/16 bolts and they can also be welded
