I threw the ball to the other team in a football game. But it's still a completion, so I'm happy.

Switch careers/ jobs around. Got back into the union(millwright). Doing so, I more then doubled my salary.

Only bad thing is now my commute to work increased so now 4runner is less enjoyable.

Milwrighting was my initial plan when I got out of high-school. I'm not much for academics and wanted to get in a job where I could use my hands. I worked in a plywood mill for 6 years and tried and tried to get them to sponsor me in a millwright apprenticeship program. No dice... ended up leaving there, went to trade school and got a bunch of welding certs with the intentions of working in the oil fields. Ended up finding a job locally making good money fabricating. Did that for about 8 years amd now I'm a Deputy Sheriff. It's been quite the career change but I thoroughly enjoy being in law enforcement.

I was in the fab./weld trade for the past 5 years(quarry drill rigs). Learned a lot and I hold just about every weld cert there is. But welding everyday took its toll on my damn back and my eyes. So when I was offered this job it was a no brainer.

Ya I'm glad I got out of fabbing when I did. It's hard on your body. Lot of awkward positions for prolonged periods of time, heavy lifting and breathing shit you prolly shouldn't breathe hahaha.

I found an unopened jar of power bait and a Panther Martin #4 spinner that’s like ten bucks!
