how to adjust fit on manuel liftgate?

    Manuel has a lift gate? He might adjust his fit if he did some cardio before lifting.

    My guess is that he’s asking how to make the lift gate stop before it reaches its highest point (so it doesn’t touch the top of a garage door for example)

    mas far as I know it’s not possible unless you use some bungee cords to prevent from opening all the way

    There maybe a clip or something to be fastened to the shaft of the strut to stop it.

    I used a hot glue gun to stick pool noodles to the garage ceiling. This way I can open the lift gate until it hits the pool noodles. No damage to the vehicle and the lift gate stops "automatically".
