Does anyone have any recommendations on the best break pads and rotors for the 5th Gen?

Just OEM and bed the pads in properly.

    BRAKES, not breaks.

I'm far from being a forum spelling police officer, but c'mon man!

Give the guy a brake. No need to brake his balls over this.

OEM breaks are going too be you’re best bet.

OEM IMO, did OEM pads and rotors at 60k.

You all are just homophones with your Brakes vs breaks...

OEM would be Advics, which is what I sourced at a discount (rotors and pads) vs. buying from a dealer site.
If you have any Federated-branded parts stores near you, the Silent Stop brake parts are EXCELLENT and certainly at a little bit more of a discount.

Like it´s been already said, OEM brakes. For the first 200 to 300 miles treat them with care, slowish speeds, gentle braking, no mumbo jumbo bed in procedure. Just drive normal and brake accordingly. When you see a shiny grayish uniform film on the rotors, that my friend is golden.
