    Hello,
I am new to this forum. The manual transmission in my 1999 4Runner SR5 is going bad, and I'm hoping to replace it with a used one. Does anyone know the model number? I am a poor college student, so I'm trying not to break the bank. Getting a used one at a pull n' save, or from craigslist seems to be the best option right now.
    Thanks,
    Tanner

A340F is of the 3rd gens. I believe you will need one out of a 99-01.
