Rear Wiper Arm replacement

I'm looking for instructions on how to replace the Rear Wiper Arm - not the Blade. It's the part that goes between the motor and the Blade, commonly referred to as the ARM.

The part is readily available, but I don't know how to replace it, does the rear spoiler/cowl have to be removed first? I can't seem to find the instructions anywhere online.
