I have a confession to make........I'm a Jeep guy and have been for 20+ years. CJs are my soft spot. I've had rock crawlers, still have a mildly built 2dr JK for more technical off road adventures and until recently had a Grand Cherokee 4x4 with the Diesel engine. Gremlins started poking up with the BS emissions stuff on the GC and we made the decision to jump to the dark side and buy a 2023 4runner TRD Off Road Premium instead of dumping money into getting all the emissions deleted and such.

I have to admit, my wife and I love this thing so far. The ride is 100x better (softer, quieter) than any other vehicle I've owned. I've been lurking around the forums learning as much as I can to help make the jump.

We live in the North Texas area but frequent the trails in Colorado, Utah and Arkansas yearly. We've also wheeled in the Big Horn mountains of Wyoming and Black Hills of South Dakota. Definitely looking forward to new off road adventures in the 4runner.

    Welcome from The Woodlands, TX.

No hate from this group for Jeep guys. I have a 99 TJ that I completely rebuilt that shares the garage with the 4Runner.
