    New member here from Florida, mainly made this account cause I need help deciding which 4Runner would work best for me. Currently torn between the 40th anniversary edition or a TRD Offroad premium. Plan on building out a overlanding rig. Perks of the TRD Offroad is the crawl control and KDSS. On the other hand my last overland rig was a 97 Land Cruiser with lockers so I have plenty of experience with out extra help, the 40th doesn’t come with a locker but that’s an easy upgrade for me to tackle at home.

    really just wonder if it’s worth it to pass on a 40th that I can buy now to wait for a Offroad premium. No mater what I get it will be getting 3-4” of lift and 35s so keep that in mind as well

    I would get the 4Oth if you plan on keeping it stock, but if you’re gonna mod it and wheel it, get the Off Road
