Toyota won't sell you a TRD Pro grille unless it's for a TRD Pro

Here is a photo of the back of the letters. You do not drill into the painted surface on the bumper and the letters come pre installed from us at Yota Xpedition.

Thanks for the pictures. Is there also double-sided tape adhesive on the letters in addition to the screws? Just curious if there have been any issues of the screws loosening up over time?

 

Are the screw heads flushed with the plastic to allow the adhesive to get a good
grab on the cross piece?

 

The screws are not any issue with the double sided tape adhering. The letters are not double sided taped, just held with the screws. We have not had any issues with screws coming loose. We went this route because we saw lots of complaints about the double sided tape coming off after some time.

From some of the pictures in this thread, some of the "TOYOTA" letters didn't look "straight" - etc. Do the letters come installed from YOTA? Also, is it still an issue to buy the OEM and requiring a VIN? I have an off-road premium and I'm considering this.

 

Sounds like that dealer. Go to their lot and copy Vin number off what you need then order for their truck. Your truck. I ordered parts from Autonation and I wouldn't recommend. Short on paid for parts and nobody will respond. Sounds like a dealer

 

I got mine already but haven’t installed. Went OEM, no VIN needed. And also comes with installation instructions, as if it was a blessed Toyota “Accessory”
