I am a recent owner of a 2022 TRD Sport and it’s my understanding that it’s a new package for Toyota. I’ve changed the wheels from the original 20s to TRD 17’s and I’d like to add a bull bar in the front.
I’m having a hard time finding one that will fit this package and that won’t interfere with the front sensor.
Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks in advance!

Consider what type of bull bar you’re looking for. A bolt on will not prevent body damage upon collision, rather will cause more damage as it collapses into the front end. On the other hand, a steel frame integrated Australian style bull bar would help in animal strikes.

For the latter, I like C4 or Southern Style Offroad. There are many variations to choose from, I’d just shy away from the flimsy bolt on versions.

    Good luck and Cheers,
    Mike

Bull bars are a huge no no. They are built based on a pivot point. Do a Google search of bull bar deer. It actually causes more damage as the bar get shoved back into your hood. Don’t do it.

Thanks to all of you for the welcome and for the advice. If the bull bar is a no, what can I do to improve the look of the front as well as provide protection - we have a lot of deer here especially at night

I actually like those a lot. ARB put out a newer sleek one that you could get from 4WP but it is always friggin out of stock.

I just had one installed last week. Expect to buy new heavy duty springs. I’ll probably go with Toyotech.
