Is that the black Metra trim piece? I have the same unit and don't like my silver Metra trim. I plan on switching it out but its hard to find.

Afe momentum cold air intake, fuel shock 17x9 matte bronze wheels with 265-70-17 Cooper discovery AT, xpel ceramic tint double layered on the whole truck plus the windshield is done in 70%. ARK mudflap delete kit, Meso dual color dome lights, solidified rear compartment cover. Molle sunvisor panels, J&L oil catch can TRD pro black valance and grille. Black mirror caps, Camping mod for rear glass, Switch Pros SP9100, Cali Raised ditch light mounts with LASfit LED cubes. Under hood LED light MOD, Compustar drone remote start
When I get home this evening I’ll send you the run down on it. It’s very easy to do. Couple simple hand tools and some extra time. It’s a minor mod that gives you a little bit of extra storage under your rear seats without hindering the functionality of anything.

I'm glad I have mud flaps and top plate on my sliders. Wish there were no holes. Imagine driving faster on trails hitting rocks on the side of the body without it. One of the reasons I support full running boards over predator steps.

Added a cargo carrier up top. Got it Harbor Freight. They had a 10% off coupon this past weekend on items over $50. Normally list dor $99.99. After discount and taxes, it was $96 and some change.

    So far I like it.

Was a small booger bear getting it to align just right. But won and done.

Got the rear dashcam working. Grounding was a lot harder than it should have been.

Also mounted my roof storage box.

Haha! That must be nice! My bank would be PISSED if they saw what I did to their 4Runner! (Cut body mounts, welded/frame modifications) haha. Only a few more payments for us then I am doing a body mount Relocation AND the fun will Really begin! Congrats!

We Installed the Meso dome lights (front and middle) and we have LOVED them.... They are bright white but we really only use them in Red mode. Our 8 year old insists on always having the light on at night so she can do whatever 8 year olds do when we are driving around at night and the Red does not kill my night vision while driving. 100% worth it for us

Taking advantage of above-freezing temps, replaced the phone mount with an ISaddle ‎CH-384. It comes with two magnetic heads, but I prefer to use my existing Garmin clip. The pre-applied adhesive tape on the base was crap, so I had to replace it with two strips of 3M molding tape.

Also installed a Rexing V3Plus dash cam with front and rear lenses:

Noticed an occasional chirp coming from somewhere on my drivers side a few of months ago. It started shortly after I replaced my rotors and pads. I thought it might be a bad rotor at first but it went away so I forgot about it.......

Until yesterday when that occasional chip turned into a constant squeal. Applying the brakes would not change the noise. So it must be a wheel bearing, I thought. Weird.......I haven't heard of anyone else replacing a wheel bearing at 80,000 miles. But I really hope it's a front wheel bearing and not a rear one. Rear wheel bearing looks like a pain in the ass to replace.

Took off the front drivers side tire to see if I could replicate the sound. Yep, there it is......thankfully. But the sound wasn't coming from the hub. Looked around and I found that the anti-rattle clip from my brake pads had snapped in half and one side of it was just barely touching my rotor. As I would drive, it would squeal incredibly loud for such little contact.

Ordered a new brake hardware kit for $13 and had the broken clip replaced in 5 min.

    No more squeal

Got ceramic tint installed today all the way around, and installed black black overlays for the chrome pieces on the front grill.

Replaced the interior light bulbs with LEDs. I chose a reputable brand to reduce the risk of frying the body control module. Map lights are Diode Dynamics DD0031P. Dome light is Diode Dynamics DD0292S. Cargo lights are Diode Dynamics DD0299P.

    AL9nZEWhQiaNbi-sgWFRszWnChWcZu7BzhUBvcov_fc0e62e2abb3a05113ca158c41c19df1267ed1c2.jpg AL9nZEW9Rhe1guzvUIpIRE7wEI5I2VBpUZ6YJGif_ad691d301f38bbf4ba01f1534745d1b1c5b4de4e.jpg

Comparison of DD cargo light LED vs stock filament bulb:

Replaced the PCV valve with Standard Motor P/N V504. Looks to be a repackaged OEM part with Toyota P/N etched on the wrench flat. "Shake test" with the removed valve (possibly factory original) shows the poppet doesn't move as freely.

The red dome light looks nice. But they never seems to have anything in stock.
    Waited indefinitely without any communication.
So went with Philips 30MM instead.

Since I am old school, I installed a cd player in the glove box. I like the option to listen to both CD's and music I downloaded to the flash drive. There are times I just want to put in a cd rather than having to download every time. I put a hub in so I can switch without having to manually unplugging any devices (cd player, 3 flash drives). Little disappointed that Toyota deleted the cd player in 2020 (purchased the 4Runner in 2020).

It is a MP3 cd player. It plugs in the MP3 port of the head unit (stock). I relocated the port from the front of the dash into the glove box cut out. Next to the MP3 port is the USB port for power only.

"Cleaning" out the back a little and entered coordinates for an upcoming trip into the nav. (Have to go south to Portland to get fingerprinted and photo'd for my Oregon non-resident CHL). Several relatives in SoCal have health issues (1 terminal, 1 maybe, and one surgical), so we are tagging on a visit and seeing my daughter in Flag.

Besides, need my annual Tommy's Burger fix!
