Hello folks... I'm not pleased with the amount of wind noise my AVS In-channel vent visors are creating at 40+ mph (2021 model year). I'm considering removing them, but, want to hear from those who have done so and confirm there's no risk of damage to the structure or seals they were adhered to. Perhaps those who've removed them can share some lessons learned or best practices?

    Thank you.

There should be zero issue. Normally they just fall out, i will be replacing the adhesive and adding some felt to my weather techs this weekend.

Unfortunately, I can't help you as I never tried to remove my AVS in-channel vent visors from my previous vehicles before, however, for you and anyone reading/considering in-channel vent visors, I can tell you that the WeatherTech in-channel vent visors (unlike AVS) use ONLY tension (no tape at all) for the 2 front visors (although they do use 3M tape for the rear 2 visors), so at least the front 2 WT in-channel visors can be taken out/inserted/replaced in 5-10 seconds with zero damage.

I removed mine with no damage to anything except a little damage to my wallet for wasting money on them:)

I just bought a WeatherTech 4-piece set for my 2019 Limited. I had them, second hand, on a 2019 Tundra; I liked them and had them in and out and back in without issue. I would like for them to work on this vehicle.

But, luckily, I didn't peel the tape off of the back two because I am thinking of sending them back. On the fronts, I have a driver's side window that won't go all the way up - not stuck open too far but far enough to be a problem - no matter how much and how many times I adjusted it. On the passenger's side, my auto window won't go up and comes back down - still the same after 10+ up-and-down cycles.

    Can anyone help, please?
