    Hi, I inherited my mom's 99 4Runner. I am so excited to have it since I live in Indiana where we get plenty of snow in the winter and my other car is a Miata :D. It's just kind of limping along right now. I've had it for a few years. I thought I was a member here already but I guess not! I just posted a thread under the 3rd gen section about randomly not starting. Thank you!

    Welcome, and congratulations!. How many miles, and do you have pics? Folks on here, me included, will tell you to get underneath for a good look at the frame and such. Like me in Ohio, you're in the middle of the rust belt. The earlier you can apply rust mitigation, the better. I lost my 2001 to frame rust before I knew better.
