Another Toyota

Going to buy a new 4Runner this year before they change everything so I figured I'd join a forum to gain some tips and tricks. I tried to get a new Tundra last year to replace my 2013 Tundra but that all fell through. The dealers couldn't come up with a truck close to what I wanted and kept offering me trucks that were loaded with accessories 4 to 7 thousand dollars more than I wanted. Then the Tundras had so many problems with turbo chargers, fit and finish, wind noise, failure to start, etc. that I dropped my search. I'll just keep my 2013 Tundra DCLB along with my 2017 Tacoma Off Road long bed. My first Toyota was a 2008 FJ Cruiser that I loved. When I got the Tacoma I couldn't keep up with three trucks and I gave the FJ to one of my grandsons. Now I have more room and a large garage/work shop and the 4Runner reminds me of my old FJ. Probably won't get it until summer when the car market has a major correction to a buyer's market and dealers have to start offering incentives.

Good luck getting incentives, even pre market screwup, I don't believe many if any incentives where given on the 4runners, I think tacomas had more. If I really wanted a 4runner, I would check with dealerships and based on what pricing they offer (MSRP seems to be good now), place a deposit on an incoming one.
