3in lift cv axle issues

I have a 2006 4runner. I bought it with a 3in. suspension lift already on it, the cv axles have a really hard angle on them. pretty sure they're the original cv axles from factory. I know I should do a dif drop but I'd like to find a better option. I've heard longer axles? if anyone has any tips or suggestions that would be greatly appreciated.

Personally recommend against a diff drop, but I am not any authority...

If you want to keep the lift height and are worried about the boots tearing, you can get longer CVs. See these guys
