Installed my Christmas presents

1. Diode Dynamics Max fog. Re Wired so that I can turn them on without having the headlights on
2. Sherpa Crestone
3. Rago Fabrication rear driver and passenger molle rack

up next. Baja Design 40 inch LED bar arrives Tuesday. After that I will pause. The bank account isn’t happy. But I sure am. In fact, I’m super happy.

 

What do you use the exterior molle racks for?

 

So I didn’t use the correct name for those. But you can mount gas/water cans, traction boards shovel. We are going to use one side for gas can. The other side for water

Thank you so much. This is the first Toyota I’ve ever owned and I absolutely love it. I spend a lot of time here just reading great posts from people and just learning what works and what doesn’t. 6 months ago I had no clue what Diode Dynamics or Sherpa was. I like how this community has come together to share a passion.

 

Cool, can the side molle panels be easily removed?

 

So easily. They have two suction cups at the bottom with a lock/unlock switch then at the top it’s like 6 Allen screws. They are specific though to the roof rack. For example, I have the Sherpa Crestone roof rack and Rago makes them for the Sherpa and also the prinsu. I really like Rago. It’s made in the USA and it’s like 1/4 inch steel plate. I plan on keeping it like it is in the picture most of the time then when we go off roading is when I’ll mount the gas and water cans. You do have to buy the accessory mount for whatever you are mounting. The gas and water can has a mount specific for thise
