    Hi all.

First I wanna thank everyone for being a part of this community and being around to ask/answer questions.

The blend door actuator on my 2000 4runner has been broken for a while. I just bought a replacement. I plugged it in and messed with the temp to make sure it was working and it worked fine. Then I installed it. The arm of the actuator that moves the blend door open and closed is trying to move the blend door, but it seems to get stuck after barely moving. It's stuck on AC right now. So it seems like the blend door arm that links up to the actuator arm is stuck. Anyone ever experience this? Any possible solutions?

Yes, my 2000 4Runner limited had the same problem. I would always hear a sound like a small motor running. It's by no means cheap, but at least, if you are somewhat mechanical minded, do it yourself.
This servo is located under the dash board behind the ash tray. If you use a flashlight you will plainly see it. Just focus and you can do it.

But it could also be the cable between the servo and the valve.
