I hit something and flatted an original Nitto Terra Grappler on my 2021 TRD Pro... put the spare on and its a different tire. We are in Steamboat Springs CO and all I see available are Nitto Terra Grappler G2. Can I replace 1 (or2) tires with this new model or do I need to track down regular Grapplers?

Depending on how many miles are on it, you could get by with just buying 1. More than 20K, I would get 2 and keep the other as a spare in your garage just incase, as it will help with stability. I dont see a big difference between the G1 and G2 beside the deeper siping.

Stock Nitto Terra Grappler was the worst A/T I have experienced. I sold them after one of the trails with mud. I was so disappointed.

I sold NittoTerra Grappler and got Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac. It was the best tire for snow I have experienced.

Now I'm trying Toyo open country AT3. Not enough experience to talk about them yet.

    Other tires I've used -
BFG KO2- My fav so far. Best all-rounder for outdoors here in CO. But on pavement for snow and ice not good as Goodyears. I would like to buy again.

Falken Wildpeak AT3W- OK tire. Too heavy for my taste even with standard load tire. Won't buy again.
