    Hey gang
    Need some input
    1) loud noise like I'm driving on gravel/ vibrations at 35-40 mph then it goes away.
    2) when it starts, noise sounds like buzzing from radio then goes away.
    3) no air on feet but airflow works everywhere

1- sounds like you might have a bad needle bearing. This is a known issue with some 4runners. Find a straight stretch of road, and throw it in four-wheel drive at about 30 mph and see if the noise stops. If it does, it is the needle bearing.

2- sounds like the EVAP pump. Emission stuff. It runs for about 10 or 15 seconds. When you start up, then it shuts off. Then, it also runs for a few seconds after you shut it off.

2nd this and the Needle bearing is a rather easy fix if you have a lift available even better this is where I have purchased a few from ... https://eastcoastgearsupply.com/i-8536125-toyota-8-clamshell-bushing-eliminates-needle-bearing.html

    1) I don't 4x4 it's 4x2. Is it expensive to get fix at local mechanic? I'm total noob.
    2) EVA pump, can this be big trouble later?
    3) i guess I don't need to dry my stinky feet!

-The needle bearing makes noise in 2wd (mostly). Putting it in 4wd helps diagnose the problem.

-It's tough to tell if we're talking about the same thing. But, there is a pump that makes noise when you first start, and also after you shut it off. It's not a problem. That's what it's supposed to do.

Got it. I don't 4x4 mode so it must be it. Can it be bad if I don't fix it? I wonder how much it will cost?

If you have a 2wd only 4Runner, then you don’t have a needle bearing, so that is not your issue.

Do you have an aftermarket roof rack or a basket or something? I get a huge harmonic hum off mine at about 35mph. Surprisingly loud.
