    Hello everyone:
I hope all is well with you and your families.
    Dealing with a !998 SR5 4Runner which I bought new in Chicago.
Moving early this year to Naples Fl I found out that the frame is rusted and has multiple holes which makes the car unsafe to drive.
I understand that recalls have been made towards the Tacomas for the same problem.
I filed a complaint with the NHTSA and with Toyota Corp.
Does somebody knows if Toyota is recalling the trucks in mention for repair, even with some owners paying certain amount of money?
It is a shame to trash such a great truck as mine, great exterior and interior condition with only 150300 miles and running so smoothly.
I need some input and ideas of what to do.
Repairing myself the car is not feasible, to much money.

Tacoma whip, 99 console box, tru trac., steering wheel, PWMS and HVAC control out of a 99.
Toyota will not be recalling frames on 3rd gens, or anything else for that matter, because they are all too old now. There were recalls on some 05+ Tacoma, but it was for a limited time, last ones were failed last year anyone with a Taco getting their frame replaced has been waiting awhile. I've seen many 4th gens here that people bought online from up north, very rusty with holes and everything, no recall that I've heard of for a T4R.
