Wonder if they’ll modify the warranty too in the event one actually “hunts trails”…

Not a fan.... so where's the fun of modifying?

I would love to see a Tundra baja/desert package.

The idea is you can order OEM "overlanding" style parts from Toyota. Upside? Its OEM and assumedly subject to a good warranty. Downside? Its OEM and assumedly subject to a questionable warranty.

Things I think you will see come out in a catalog of available parts that WILL NOT be subject to a VIN number like Pro parts - Roof rack, bed rack, lights/lightbars, wheels, tires, centralized light controllers, fuel and or water options.

I love this idea but feel that it won’t be attainable for most consumers.

i think Toyota is doing something that excites a community that looks at what the Jeep community has always marketed. Aftermarket working with OEM is a good thing

Not surprising, since Ford and Jeep offer so many versions. Maybe the 4Runner gets some love with a Trailhunter version.
