I just noticed something. I have 2 keys.. 1 gray and 1 black . The gray can open manual rear window but black can't. I thought black is master but why it can't open rear! Both can open glove box. I use Gray bc I thought it was master. Thoughts anyone?

Lol. "do not accept the car without all the keys".

Not going to happen. Not in this market. You'll take it as is or it sells to the next guy. 99.9% of the buyers out there are idiots and don't care until they get home and find out they need to spend $600 to get another key and fob.

By the time the car gets traded in, off to auction and picked up by a small time used car lot, you will get a single key and if you are super lucky, you might get a fob with it.

I bought a couple of Mazdas (year apart) and had to suck it up and just buy new keys and fobs and get them programmed. On one, I had to rip out the dealer installed security system so I could get replacement fobs. Luckily, I knew that the keys and fobs were cheap and knew a guy who could program them for a reasonable amount. Both times, I asked the used car salesman where the other keys\fobs were and he laughed and said that they usually just get the one. I asked if they could get me another set and he laughed and said they wouldn't do it but would "refer" me to someone. And this was before Covid. The cars were priced right so I still bought them but it annoyed me no end. I actually am more angry at the manufacturer\dealer than the used car guy. There is no reason the dealer should rape their customers that need keys. It used to be a complementary service when it was a dumb key.

    /end rant
