Looking to get a ladder for the 22 ORP. Drill or no drill? Frontrunner looks decent as a no drill option?

She has a ladder, but also mentions having slammed the hatch down on a dog kennel to “make it fit”. I’d like to know if anyone else with a ladder has bent their hinges.

True, I’m sure others have been successful with ladders. You would think with the hatch in the closed position, the loads wouldn’t be concentrated on the hinges, but who knows?

When I go to Valhalla and go before Crom to answer the Riddle of Steel Ladders, my reply will be that it is for mounting rotopax only. Crom will instead cast out thee weak Raptor light havers and OEM recovery point blasphemers.

I’ve had a Bajarack ladder on for almost a year without any issues with the hatch. No drilling and has worked well for me so far

Have a c4 fab ladder.87DB5940-9B9D-4121-9970-743529DFD76D.jpg Older no drill style. Zero issues. Be prepared for heavier hatch struts.

I have the Gobi on mine and love it. It was a very easy install and feels solid. They even sent me a set of the beefier door pistons at no extra cost.

Hey, can I have some info on your rear tire setup? I see you're still running the stock bumper, I'm intrigued.

It’s an AEV tire carrier designed for the Jeep JK that I repurposed to work on my 4Runner. I have a pretty detailed breakdown on my build thread…which I need to add to…

Have the same one and no problems. But just upgraded the struts so it stays open better.

Excellent, thank you! It's funny, I was just saying the other day that I think the best way to go for a tire carry on one of these is to adapt one from a Jeep. I'll definitely check your thread out, thanks again. Looks fantastic!
