I have a 2015 4Runner Trail and I recently found out that the spacers that were installed before I bought the truck were not "hub centric" which has been causing a lot of shaking and a rough drive. I am now searching for a new lift that includes some wheel spacers that are hub centric. U am not very educated in this area so I'm looking for some help. I am also a college student so I am looking for a budget-friendly option if available. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

Why not ditch the wheel spacers altogether?

I really like the look of the spacers and am rocking 32s. I have some rubbing and I'm afraid it will make it worse if I ditch them.

Valid point, I have read some posts that using wheel spacers exasperates tire rubbing due to the increased arc. But everyone’s setup is different. I would certainly shop for a wheel spacer that is specifically hub centric for your vehicle. I had a family member that narrowly adverted disaster using a cheap spacer that was not hub centric on an Acura.

There are 2 different things going on here.

Lift spacers lift the trucks height.

Wheel spacers increase your track width.

Both are independent of one another and you don't need both in order for things to work. Of course you can have both if you want them.

I wouldn't go cheap on wheel spacers or lift. Spidertrax spacers are top quality and you're going to want that for a wheel spacer. A Bilstein 5100 lift or an Eibach adjustable shock lift would be solid budget lift options to look into.

Awesome, I will look into both of these. Thanks

Not here to knock on spidertrax or any other spacers for that matter but just wanted to share my experience. You can decide how you want to spend your $$$.

I just got new wheels this past weekend and didn't need my Amazon wheel spacers anymore so I took them off. In the last 3 or so years that I've had them on, I never once had any issues with them. They perform exactly how a spacer should. I check them once a year and best part is, I never used any locktite either.

I had Amazon spacers on my 4 Runner and was getting a steering wheel shimmy. Had to take them off as it was annoying. Also tires were rubbing on the mud flaps and front fender liner when turning. The wheels spacers looked pretty solid and had a good fit not sure why they induced the shimmy. Too bad as liked the look with the wheels poking out a bit instead of the sunken look.
