I’m holding onto anything I swap out in case in end up selling. I pulled all this off my 22 before selling and was glad I held onto the stock stuff. You never know when that amazing deal or vehicle might pop up.

The swap is super simple once you can get a set.

Had to get new tires, so found some Trail Edition wheels (2nd pic) in good shape. So much better than the SR5 wheels (1st pic)

Doesn’t hurt to ask, I did that for a while before just buying new. You gotta catch them quick when they go up for sale anywhere.

The last time I checked a while back was $1400+ for a set of new OEM full LEDs. How much did you paid?

$1,307 + $75 for shipping from Boch Toyota South. They’re typically the cheapest vendor from my experience. All the local dealers quoted me over $2000.

If by full LED you mean LED hi and low beams, it would be a bit more. I went with the LED low and halogen high. You can modify a 9011 bulb to fit in the 9005 spot and the 9011 bulb is significantly brighter/better.

For that price you might as well go aftermarket, I paid about $1100 for my Morimoto’s. Alpha Rex makes some nice units as well. Unless your stuck on wanting Oem, you can get a nice set for less than new Oem. Or just keep searching, Oem lights pop up all the time. Also check your local fb marketplace or Craigslist.

I wanted OEM. The Morimotos have good output and look great, but I wanted better reliability. They have a great warranty, but too many people are having to replace them often. The Alpharex light also look great, but don’t perform as well as the OEM LEDs. They have some pretty bad QC as well.

OEM has the best quality and output. The Morimotos are the only aftermarket headlamps I'd go with, until Diode Dynamics releases something.

Totally understand. If it wasn’t for all the chrome I would’ve probably kept my stock ones. I wish they made something like they do for the Tacoma Pro’s for the 4Runner Pro’s. The Tacoma Pro headlights are nice, my buddy just bought a 23 Tacoma Pro and his lights look awesome.

Oh I thought they did? So the 4R is the only one in the Pro line that doesn’t have the black accents in the lights? That’s dirty. Tundras have the Pro version too. I don’t blame you for wanting to get rid of that. Those Tacoma LEDs perform better too. Toyota didn’t show the 4R much love on the LEDs in comparison to the rest of Toyotas.

Nice looking wheels. Thinking about powder coating my ORP wheels gray. How much did you pay for those?

Around 400. Found a local shop that sold them with new tires as a package so guessing.

I bought a Master No.3 w 2” shank and while it fits over the male portion of the quick disconnect, it doesn't fit over the female piece. I’m assuming your #1 Master is a 2” shackle and it fits over the female portion? (Your picture here shows it only through the male portion of the Ironman quick release mount)

Sad day...Traded in the 4R for a 2023 Tundra Limited AG for towing my 18 x 7.5 cargo trailer.

The 4R was awesome during the 6.5 years it was in the family, and the trade-in value was high relative to the original purchase price. It really served the family well until the end.

I'll be back in a few years when the 6th gen comes out...hoping for a hybrid.

My new air compressor just arrived and I didn't expect it to be that big. Makes my normal size (laptops with full keyboard and a number pad) work laptop looks tiny. Did a quick test from 20 psi to 35psi and it was very fast. Need to do a proper test later. I did not expect it to have a bag either, thats very nice.

This is the one I purchased from Amazon - http://shorturl.at/iwzEG

As the solar cables passed into the inside the insulation wore through from opening the hatch. Wanting to keep this route, I spliced a section of the cable with a more malleable PVC insulation cable (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LYHNTHN?ie=UTF8&th=1) that can be replaced when worn through again. Fingers crossed.

Who cares? This never shows everything anyway.
    That's dealer money, ain't it? Should've called a locksmith.
