Is that broken or did it somehow unthread itself?

Not exactly sure...it didn't look broken but I wasn't able to thread it back in either.

First I've seen this. Maybe get a tap and die set and chase the threads? A little red Loctite will ensure it doesn't happen again. That or try going to Bilstein for warranty?

Already bought and replaced it. Sending the bad one to Bilstein to get my money back...

Would like to know how they respond; please let us know. Seeing that pic makes me concerned because I just purchased some 5100's about 2 months ago for my 2016 4RTP. How did you ever discover it or noticed?

Okay, had to try these. Ordered and installed the drivers side with no issues. Cross threaded the passenger side so now it's off to the shop tomorrow. Be very careful and pay attention and take your time. I tried to rush it and now it's time to "pay the piper". Lol.

Let us know how it goes. Might do something similar with my Glock.

The warranty process is kind of lame but I will get money back eventually. I noticed a clunking noise back there a while back but then it went away. I figured it fixed itself (dumbass). Then over time I started noticing how floaty the rear end felt. Then the other day I went over one of those large speed bumps in a neighborhood and the rear suspension bottomed out to the bump stops. I knew that wasn't right since I didn't go unreasonably fast over the bump. Got home and crawled under there only to discover the shock in 2 pieces.

Okay, all fixed now and wow what a difference with body roll. Highly recommend these urethane rear sway bar bushings.

Do you think they'll make the ride to stiff when 4 wheeling?

That's what I've heard. I kept the OEM parts just in case. It's a 5 min switcherooo.

Not today , but recently slapped in some Tacoma TRD progressive coils on bilstein 4600s for 2" of lift up front and better handling

These fit perfectly on the TRDP. Not sure if the OR has the same height in the front.

Installed a set of these this afternoon, and gave up after 10 minutes of trying to install a set AirLift 1000 helper bags. Way too hot, and really need a vehicle lift for this job

Installed ghost lights, I know Ima get some flame but oh well. They were cheaper than led bulbs.
