Curious if anyone has installed the Brite box anytime fogs in their '22. If so, I'd like info on any challenges and recommendations for the install. I'm particularly interested in info on the engine fuse box part of your install. My understanding is that the '22s fuse box is different than earlier models. Yes, I am aware of the Trail4Runner install but that was on an earlier model.
    Thanks folks.

I don't have an answer as I have not done this. BUT.... I do recall hearing some people had issues with the fuse box on 22+. Something about a different design that didn't have room for fuse taps or something?
I'll be curious to see any answers as this is something I have considered doing.

I tested the prototype for the 2010-2019 version. (Those are my pics on his site). The plastic material is ABS, the fit is perfect, and it’s easy to install and remove. I’ve tried other extended covers and this one works best for me.

    Thanks for the response.
Is the one referenced for the engine bay?
    Thanks.

No, that Etsy store cover is for the interior fuse box.
I’ve never seen one for the engine compartment fuse box. And you shouldn’t need one. If you get the correct size fuse tap (Low Profile Mini) they fit under the lid properly. If you get the Mini size it may hit the lid.

FWIW - if you remove the screw to the left (facing the rear of vehicle) of the engine bay fuse box, you can run the fuse tap wire down along that bolt so it doesn't get pinched. Only other way to do it is to run it between the fuse box and cover pinching the wire.

Showing where the wire can be routed out of the under hood fuse box so it is not pinched by the lid...

So is it going in the same hole as the screw (that someone said to remove)? Or is the screw removed so you can access an additional point of exit?

Its removed so you can fish the new wire thru the same hole as the larger feeder wire. Then run the add-a-fuse to whatever existing fuse you want. Then reinstall the nut. That is the feeder wire to that particular fuse box.

I'm not sure what fuse you're referring to.
I have a bright box kit sitting somewhere in my garage, I installed it, it didn't worked, they sent me another one, it didn't worked either, I had it with me when I went to Baja and on my way back the guy never answered my calls.
Anyways, the instructions didn't mentioned any fuses, just plug into the lights and add a fuse to the + battery terminal, and a ground.
    2022 TRD PRO.
    Not impressed with Bright Box.

    I have a 2022 TRD PRO.
I tried installing the Bright Box and it did NOT work.
I contacted the owner, Cody, who at first was very responsive, and, who sent me a different one, which also didn't work.
I took it with me when I went down to Baja in February, and on my way up, I wanted to stop in Hesperia, CA and have them try to install it.
However, by this time hw never returned any of my calls or emails.
I have it sitting on a shelf, but as far as I recall, it doesn't require any fuse tap, just plug it into the existing harness and connect it to the battery.

    Thanks for the tip.
I did that with the cable for my RedArc for the dual battery set up.
Saw your post and kept the advice on the back of my mind, I just been so busy I never remembered where I read about it until now, when I bumped onto this thread.
