Seriously? I'm barely getting 17 mpg and I'm stock (TRD Pro) height. You have any armour/sliders? Though I've been running the a/c since the end of Jan here in Texas

Just stock skids, no added weight at all. I don't drive hard but I don't drive super easy either.

Hmmm, that might be it. I've got sliders, aluminum armour back to the transmission, diff skid, and a Prinsu full length rack.

Rack is a big part of it. Hurts aerodynamics

I actually didn't notice any hit when I put it on. The Terra Grapplers are all about 9/32nds on the edges, and 11/32nds in the center. Wondering if they've been under inflated....?

Yep that's a sign of under inflation which will hurt gas mileage. I run 34 pounds in my BFG's

Just hit 2000 miles so did my first oil and filter change. OEM Toyota synthetic oil and filter. Also replaced the crappy plastic oil filter housing cap with a metal one.

Of course I did. They won't change my oil until 10K miles, not happening. I changed it at 2K to help get any of the natural break in material out, i'll change it again at 5K, and every 5K after that. I'm not waiting 10K miles between oil chances.

Lmao, I couldn't see the lines when I parked, it was coming down so hard.

So I just pulled 2 suv's out of the same section of a flooded street. This dude in a brand new looking Jeep decided to try to go around the street I was getting set up on for the 1st guy. Drove over some grass, straight into 5+ft of water. Pulled him out before more than just the engine compartment was under water. Doubt his Heep will ever start again. So glad I finally bought a snach strap and shackles

Why did you dig the trench where you did? I would have dug next to the concrete and bought 180 heads.

Yep, on my way to the archery range this evening when I found a Tahoe stuck on the sidewalk. Dude tried to drive around the flooded road (maybe 3-5" deep), and got stuck in the grass between the sidewalk and the curb. Stopped to help, when the Jeep idiot drove straight into 5+ ft of water, trying to avoid the same road section. Smh big time with these 2

Have you considered joining the Ft Bend Emergency Group? You have skills they could use helping the not so smart folks down here. I use my F-350 to push and pull these folks out of harms way.

Did you install the "SR5" overlays? Let's see a pic?

A few days late, but we took the rig on its first real trek. 800+ miles driven that included hilly freeway roads, redwood trails, and sandy beach roads. Could not be happier with this ride.

Markiemark....you liked my question but did not answer. I am just curious of your opinion of the overlay for the SR5. I ended up dipping mine because I thought the overlay looked like do-do. Maybe you think otherwise, post a pic so we can see. Thanks.

It's all good. I am just curious how they look installed. I thought there was too much "connective tissue" for lack of a better phrase.

I had the overlays on mine but after a month or so decided to debadge altogether. It didn't look terrible while it was on but it did kinda look toyish. I like it debadged much better. Much cleaner look.
