Hey guys so I’m getting new tires for my 1997 Base 4Runner but I don’t want the spare tire to be bigger than what can go under the truck so my question is what is the max you can make the tires without the spare not fitting under the truck?

We have a Toyo 285 70 17 on a 2021 OEM Pro wheel as a spare and it fits. Snug, but it fits.

Can’t be sure if anything larger than a 285 tire will fit there.
