I'm going to be getting either a prinsu or Uptop overland rack for my new TRD ORP & wanted to see what everyone has done to carry their canoe on these. I'm wondering if the yakima keel over or Thule portage brackets will fit the bars? or if there is another brand out there that will work.

    thanks

Sorry I don’t have a 4R any more. It disappeared.

yeah thank you I had searched here and on the tacoma world forum as well, but unfortunately the overlap between canoe and overland gear is smaller than I hoped it would

the best solution I've found is to use the Thule Portage Canoe Rack with their Xadapt12 system to integrate into the crossbars - looks like it should work!

This is old, but I have a prinsu on my Taco and I just throw kayaks on it and strap them down. 2 per boat, strap goes under a bar, over boat, under bar on the other side, back over boat, and tightened. Same idea as the canoe when I only had bed racks. No problem at highway speeds with either20200824_142940.jpg20210801_161305.jpg
