My wife wants to change up the wheels on her 2022 Trail Edition and I want to get some ideas of what to do. Looking for pics of anyone with Army Green and different wheels from factory. was considering going with the newer "sema" style wheels because of the wider profile over stock, but wanna see whats out there. Thanks!

Just my opinion, but I think the bronze wheels look good with the green or red 4Runners.

If it was my decision I would have the gloss bronze SCS Gen5's already ordered hahaha I think the bronze looks incredible with the green. I think she wants to keep it more subtle though with black or a dark grey.

With the size tire that you can fit on a 4Runner, if there's no reason to go wider than a 7.5 in wheel IMO. You're probably going to run a 285/70/17, and 7.5 is spec'd for that.

Wider wheels with more offset are just going to be more likely to rub.

That said, if you're doing it just for appearances go for it, although personally I think bronze is 100% the way to go and I wouldn't waste money on anything else, lol.

haha i wish I could talk her into the bronze. its so good lol and I know the width isnt really a big issue at all. I know the difference of a 7.5 to 8 wide will pretty much be unnoticed. definitely plan on staying in that +5 offset range though. Honestly if the trail wheels where a +5 and I could de-chrome the center caps we would've just rocked those and saved the money. we both do like the Pro wheels but man I hate cleaning matte wheels.

I have the matte black Pro rims and love them. As far as cleaning, I occasionally use a hand mitt with soap and water but mainly just rinse them with water. I don’t worry about detailing them. Adds character. ;)

I was kind of thinking the same thing, we are debating if we should get rid of the off road wheels or not. I have a set of the pro wheels currently on it, and like them, just thinking about running dedicated winter/highway and summer/off road tires

What’s funny, is I wanted the AG and could only get the LR, but it has grown on my and I am very happy with it now.

Funny, I'd prefer an AG...Have a LR with under 3K miles. Wanna trade?

Much agree. The dark bronze wheels and the AG look like they were made for one another. LOL Not overwhelming, just a good looking combo.

The nice thing about polished wheels is that they are easier to clean and easier to wax. But the mat finish does look more in character with a 4R.

I'm with ya there. Some bronze Gen5's or F5's would be my vote. I had Gen5's on my Taco. Regret ever selling it

Sounds made up until you post pics! I like to change wheels every so often, probably going to SCS Ray 10, F5, or Gen 5 in black here sometime soon, whenever I can make up my mind. Would love to see the pics of the gun metal Ray10s on AG. Been curious to how that would look.
