Thanks. You make great points. I do notice some “clicks “ when I go up into the driveway. Not sure if it’s cause the springs need to settle or needed uca’s.

Jeannette is pretty helpful and you can message her to get a custom color scheme if you don't see one you like. I wanted something different for the truck than standard TRI color grill badge. Only cosmetic but it's one the first things people look at besides the trucks color. And being Asian, I'm allowed to rice out at least one thing on my vehicles :)

Finally did some glare “mitigation” on the hood and scoop. I tried on my own a while back with DIY options and I discovered my inability to apply wraps !!

So, we designed a variation on that theme and had the work done by Graphics Guys in Austin.

Added a voltmeter. I only have 1 battery at the moment but it’ll be useful when I add a 2nd battery as well.

When I wanted to buy my 4Runner last year, I almost bought brand new because I wanted the view feature. Do you enjoy it & how nice is it?

Ended up getting a used 4Runner because I didn't want safety sense crap, didn’t want a sunroof on a pro & didn’t want a push to start

It's nice to have. I wish the resolution was better for sure, but I do use it often. It makes it very easy to park and see where the lines are with the birds eye view.
The front camera seems somewhat useless while off roading if you're trying to look at small details in front (because of the bad resolution) but it served me really well a few times while going up at the very top of a steep hill on trails I didn't know and all I could see from my seat was the sky. Looking at the front camera tells me right away what's behind the hill so I don't have to tell my wife/friends to get out of the 4R and check for me. So it's also nice if you're alone in the truck as you don't have to get out all the time

It’s also nice to have it automatically come on when you are driving very very slow (stopping, not moving, just starting to move). You can see where you are at the line for stop signs, lights … but mainly to see how close the idiot is behind you. But resolution sucks, especially if you’ve experienced the Jeep or Bronco cams.

Love the "NOT" automatic 2 zone climate control :p:p Have to keep on hitting re-circulate button and turn off A/C so that it won't give cold air on a 32 degree day. When temp is set to 68'F inside the car it seems to be 56'F

I don't understand what you're trying to do?
If it's cold outside and you want hot air, turn the temps up? in auto it will control the fan speed depending on the temp set and the temp outside, among other things.
A/C also works when you turn the heat on, it doesnt mean the air will come cold. It means it will dehumidify the air

I just want the vehicle to warm up to 68'F. But the interior temp is around 56'F and keep turning A/C and fresh air from out side. When this happens I get cold air. So I turn off A/C and hit re-circulate mode button so I keep getting hot air.

I wouldnt "trust" the temperature on the 4R screen to be exact as whether the A/C button is on or off you'll get different temperature readings regardless of the outside temperature. Also, the air coming out right of the vents will most likely be a slightly different temp than by the time it reaches your face.
If you want to keep the A/C on (or off), I wouldnt use the auto feature as the car will change things for you on its own. If you want to lock certain features, just use it manually and adjust the fan speed/temps on your own so it shouldn't change.

I dont have the auto climate control on my 4runner, but our 18 highlander has it. It’s ability to maintain the temp/climate in the cabin is very poor. I’ve never spent more time in any vehicle fiddling with the temps, fan, settings than in our highlander with auto climate control. It’s always doing something that’s uncomfortable, too hot, too windy, etc.

Much easier to set things on my manually controlled system 4r

My 2021 Venture came with Bridgestone Dueler HTs. Quiet, but boring. At 31k miles, they are wearing crazy fast and certainly aren't going to provide the ice/light snow confidence I'd like to have this coming winter. So today, I took this as my chance to get tires more worthy of the 4R, Falken Wildpeak AT3, as well as add SpiderTrax spacers to beef up the stance a bit. No lift + stocks size tires + spacers = rubbing.

Tires are smooth at all speeds, but rubbing the liner way before full turn and rubbing the actual fender plastic as well. I wasn't expecting that. I think a heat gun will fix the liner, but it looks like I would have to trim the actual fender if I want to keep the spacers. I think I've seen this done online somewhere.

Anyone have experience trimming the fender?

#1 I hate wheel spacers. If it was me I would throw away the spacers.

This is how I trim the bumper to fit 285s. Just sharing my TRD trim video if it help you in anyway. (Have a seperate one for the Limited folks)

Replaced my worn out Wildpeaks with MT Baja Boss ATs a couple days ago. Don’t really have enough mileage on them to have any kind of opinion yet. Reviews are really good though. I really liked the Wildpeaks, but wanted to give these a shot.

New tires! The Nitto Ridge Grapplers were getting old and a little slick in the rain so I replaced then with Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T's!

So the Mickey Thompsons, are they known to have a particular edge over other tires? They look good. A little more siping than KO2s?

    Why thank ya!

These are their "aggressive" all terrain with three peak mountain snowflake rating. Along the same lines as a KO2 and Falken Wildpeak. I've had both of those so I wanted to try out the Mickey Thompsons. Excited for snow to try these things out.

Couple of things I've done over past 2 weeks.

    1. Upgraded the mirror side signals to black sequential ones (found on Amazon).
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B091GFBVHL?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

    IMG_20221022_205049_380.jpg

    2. Upgraded the mirrors themselves to blue tint with integrated signals. Not a bad install. Took prob 30 mins.
    https://cartrimhome.com/With-LED-Turn-Signal-Side-Mirror-Glass-Replacement-For-4RUNNER?search=toyota 4runner&page=2

    IMG_20221022_205049_423.jpg

    3. Upgraded the front and rear turn signals to LEDS. So far no hypeflashes. Also upgraded the reverse lights to LEDS. Found those on Amazon.

    https://runnin4tacos.com/products/l...ow-toyota-4runner-2016?variant=42575233614075
    https://runnin4tacos.com/products/lasfit-rear-turn-signal-toyota-4runner-2016?variant=42575262646523
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00MUF1APW?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details (says it doesn't fit, but it does)

    IMG_20221022_205049_464.jpg

    4. Installed VLEDs red interior footwell lights. This process took a little longer than I had hoped, but was worth it in my book.

Edit: I also upgraded the puddle lights (no pic). Had these left over from upgrading the lighting in doors and few other spots inside the truck. Works great and lot brighter too. Lights came from Amazon.
