Anybody make a steel rear bumper (preferably with tire carrier) that will accommodate 2022's with the (annoying) blind spot monitoring system? My dealer was telling me about a guy with a 2022 that had them install the Victory 4x4 rear bumper, but the BSM light went on. To get it off, the system basically has to be removed and that alone is not cheap.

Surely the aftermarket mfgr's will come out with something, just wondering if there are options already?

Thanks for the link. Is it confirmed that this rear bumper would work with a 2022? It looks like it sits pretty high and tight, so it might ?

Ya know, I've only seen a lot of their custom work on Instagram. Very high quality products. Just thought I'd throw another option at ya since your in CA.

All the more reason so many dont want the nanny systems. I'm buying my rig for offroad use which includes pretty common changes to the vehicle. IMO, when they begin putting them in every model of every vehicle, for offroad vehicles (4Runner, Tundra, Tacoma), they need to provide the consumer a way of disabling the system. Of course insurance companies dont want that, so it will never happen and we will have issues just like this.

Blind spot monitoring does not use proximity sensors, typically it’s done with small doppler radars because they pick up moving things vs literally everything you drive past like a proximity sensor would.
