New to the 4Runner but a seasoned Toyota veteran

Hey all,

just wanted to pop in & introduce myself. My name is Aaron & I’m currently in Texas.

I’ve been somewhat of a Toyota lifer. First car was a Corolla. Had a 1st Gen Tundra, then a Scion XB. I went to a Chevy 1500 for 2 years & while I didn’t hate it, I knew it wasn’t my long-term truck.

I had always wanted a Tacoma but being my size, I simply do not fit in one comfortably. Ended up getting a 2022 Tundra back in April & have loved every minute of having my truck.

Because of that, my better half decided she was no longer happy with her Blazer & wanted to upgrade to a 4Runner (which she wanted before the Blazer). I got really lucky (not so much with the Tundra search) & was able to secure an allocation on a 2023 TRD Pro that will be here at the end of this month.

This will be the first 4Runner but we’re both pretty excited. Hoping to get to do some fun stuff in the future with it!

I figured I’d attach a picture of my Tundra just because.

I LOVE my Tundra. Personally, could not have asked for a better truck. I know some folks have had some issues but it does appear they finally squared away the wastegate issue with the turbo with any built after March/April.
