Thanks. They were pricey. For the price I could have bought RR wheels but preferred the stockers the way I wanted them.

Happy with how the spacers turned out

Thanks. And I understand trying to wrap your brain on better using the space, my brain is warped from figuring it out. There's NOT much space for things. I needed the frame to support the expanded bed and closed it off for the looks and to use the cedar to keep bugs away. The storage was NOT planned or intended but still somewhat useful. NOT sure if it's noticeable, but the 80/20 is attached to the vehicle at already available anchor points, I think they're all 10mm, and there are several.

Your profile says you're in AZ. I live in Phoenix and don't mind driving if you want to take a look at it. Anyhow, hope the pictures help.

Is that a camping packed-out (food, water, clothing, etc) weight or only the vehicle?

That sucks about the caliper pins.

Mine were no issue at 75k.......although the caliper bolts almost did me in. Snapped a socket wrench and extension trying to loosen those bastards.

A few weeks ago, I learned from Venture4WD (YouTube) that a laptop could be powered by 12v. After much looking up how and what I need to power my MacBook Pro I learned I need a USB-C PD Output: 5V/3A 9V/3A,12V/3A,15V/3A,20V/3.25A (65W Max). Don't know what any of that means but that's what I needed, got off Amazon, installed it, and it works as advertised. Even better, I connected to USB-C outlet to the house battery for all-time power regardless if the vehicle is on or NOT. I installed a second one in the back for use when sitting outside or inside. That aside, I use an iPad for work and on a few occasions the battery did NOT last to the last assessment and why I carry a battery pack, as I spent disconnected ~45-60mins on the iPad between appointments and the ~15-30mins driving between appointments was never enough to charge the iPad. Additionally, when the vehicle was off the iPad was NOT charging. While at it, I changed the smaller RAM laptop mount to an original larger one sitting in the garage. Since the vehicle has its own WiFi, and the laptop works well with it while at a stop and now has continuous power, gonna conduct a trial to see if the laptop will stay connected while driving. Lastly, installed a napkin holder I have been using in the front to now in the back (kitchen area). Aside from the most common complaint from many is that the roll of paper towels unravels while driving (and the many ways to prevent/resolve that issue) the other is its bulkiness. The napkin holder is thin, does NOT unravel, and the best part--I can refill it with fast food restaurant napkins at NO cost (as if napkins are the cause of financial ruin).

Mine weren't too bad. Managed to loosen them with a regular 1/2 drive and help from the jack handle. The caliper pins on my Tacoma were a little stubborn, but not as bad as this.

    Fluid filmed. Feeling good.

Also did the 1K mile oil change. I'm pretty sure it isn't necessary, but :notsure: at least I had the experience. Much more of a PIA than my FJ. Not sure if the skid has to come off to access the oil filter, but I had it off anyway for the fluid film.

While that affliction wont get better, you might make it seem more normal if you forget your phone in the 4runner every time you park. Remember you forgot it as you approach the doors of the place you are at, then slow walk back to get it. Then the starring just looks like normal “looking”, since you’re walking to your car…

I've been using some PB blaster on it. I'm just worried the end of the pin will deform before it starts to slide out. I did pick up a new pin today in case the old one doesn't survive. I'll probably try again tomorrow.

it will deform for sure. I have a pack of slider pins just foe occasions like this. Use antiseaze on them as well at the ends

I did use anti-seize on the other 3. The pins aren't too expensive. I might make replacing them part of my tire rotation routine.

Blacked out badges, window deflectors, smoked 3rd brake light. I have a Borla muffler on order as well as some color matched engine cover stickers. I'll be painting the stock wheels soon as well. Falken tires in the fall as well.
Wrapped the trim piece above theDSCN5748.jpg DSCN5745.jpg glove box. I didn't like how it looked and once in a great while I would get a bad sun reflection from it.

Kinda curious where you live replica? Awful lot of rust under there for only being 4 years old. Just sold my gen 3 runner and no rust.

On your pin, maybe a little heat?
