Not sure when this happened. All of the windows have minor scratches from winter sand, but this one is kind deep, and at a 45° angle. It's on the inside, and looks similar to a scratch in window tint when the sun hits it. Is it fixable?

used the Magnuson tuner that came with the kit, extract the factory tune, send it to them, they ''flash" it and send it back to you. You then download it to the hand held tuner and once its done you flash it to the 4runner and boom done.

Took it out on the beach today. While out there figured it was a good time together the low range movement a little. Also used the crawl control a little to to be sure it worked. Made all the noises I expected. It was fun. Rest of our time here will be just 4H. Don’t think I will really need crawl control in this 4Runner. See a lot of others getting stuck though.

Not today but last summer I put in a Blue Sea Systems power panel. Here it is during the initial function test, providing power to my Goal Zero 200x after using that for powering my Dremel to cut through the plastic of that access panel lol

    PXL_20210618_170003261.jpg

Fused harness/switch, dual 12v sockets, voltmeter. We use it primarily for supporting our Dometic CFX45 fridge and giving some juice back to our Goal Zero 3000x when convenient on trips/when camping.

Will be replicating this in my Tundra at some point.

Added some carbon fiber touches to the steering wheel and window switches. I'm loving the look - accept now my steering wheel emblem overlay being opposite from the new pieces is driving my OCD brain into hyperdrive! But other than that, the pieces seem to be adhering well and my corgis approve so I suppose it's all good.

No shit! Didn't even dawn on me to pay any attention to the directionality of the CF print. And, unfortunately, no. Purchased a month apart and from two different sites. Needless to say I am currently hunting for a emblem cover that has the CF going the other direction. My OCDness demands it! LOL!!

I purchased a used 30 inch rigid hyperspot on offerup a few weeks ago for $340. They are expensive new but can find them used for a decent price and man I am very impressed with it.

It looks amazing other than the different directions. I just got my 4runner a month ago I have been debating something like this to cover the silver trim in my interior. I think I made my decision now!

Not today, but I *finally* scored a Motorola MA1 Android wireless dongle and installed it. (FYI: if you've been looking too.. last I looked, they were still available at Target's website!) I'm wondering if anyone has figured out a way to mount this on the passenger A/C pillar? I know a lot of others have simply swung up and under the lower storage space but I am wanting to put a drawer there so that location is a no go for my dongle.

The dongle's cord is only about 6" and puts too much strain on itself when I stick it to the pillar. I've been looking at USB adapters, just to give myself a little more wiggle room, but my husband says everything I've found so far wouldn't sit flush due to the 12v outlet right next to the USB connection.

I even tried following a thread I found about relocating the USB from the console to the glovebox. Ingenious solution!! But I pulled my entire dash and glovebox apart only to discover that the USB in the dash is a different size than the USB blank slot in the glovebox. *facepalm* So much for that idea.. but at least I know I can disassemble my dash without fear now. Ha!

But that still leaves me with the issue of getting the dongle mounted on the A/C pillar without strain on the (unremovable) cord. Any ideas or suggestions??

Thanks! I wish I could see past the mixed directions. I might.. or not.. it's not like I look at the steering wheel all that often.. Who am I kidding?! The hunt for a new emblem will continue! Hahaha!

Traded my 2012 Ram Laramie (aka Chrome Queen) for my 2021 4R Venture. Coming from the Laramie, I am just *DONE* with all things chrome LoL!! My Runner didn't have much chrome in it to begin with, but that steering wheel emblem was the first to be covered and then, as soon as they were back in stock, I grabbed the Meso door handle covers. I am one happy camper now! You won't regret doing it, is the moral of the story LoL!

There were some fitment issues with the RCI skids and my '22 that I didn't have on my previous '21 4Runner. The T-case skid gave me the most problems and I've never been entirely happy with how it is currently. I like that Cali Raised uses a different mounting point on the frame for their T-case skid crossmember.

Plus, we decided to take the 4Runner for our Arizona trip (hopefully)next year. Since we'll be playing in the rocks and I'm sticking with stock suspension and tire size, we decided to go with steel instead of aluminum.

I did the same. Loved my 2015 2500 especially going up the mountain climbs but, the comfort of the 2021 ORP is great. Really liking my choice.

Is that a Sherpa rack? Just installed mine yesterday. How are the rubber blocks holding up against water intrusion around the mounting bolts? I followed their instructions and applied no silicone.

I had same thing happen to me about a years ago. Ran to up the local Walgreens for something, came back out and was sitting in parking lot texting a friend with sunroof open, and just randomly some bird pooped thru the sunroof. It cleaned up real easily, but I was like, "Damn! Did this REALLY just happen to me??"

Aside from the 120v indoor outlets, now there is a 120v outlet on the outside. And once again, an appreciation for mechanics and electricians. Because while you make it look easy none of this is simple. At least this time my arm did NOT get stuck trying to secure a wire through a gap between the tire and the vehicle. However, I did get a nice jolt after forgetting to disconnect the 3k-watt inverter.
