    I am also happy with SPC's. Been great. I went with SPC because they are a pretty easy repair/replace if you ever needed to on the trail. I have installed SPC's, JBA's, Icons etc and never had issues with SPC, JBA or even the Arb during install. (I had an issue with one set of Icon's but that seemed to be a fluke.)

    When it comes to JBA do most of y’all buy the HD set? I had lots of problems with my SPCs. Long story short they sent me new bushings cause mine were making noises. Thanks

    The SPCs had bushing issues in 2019/2020. They have corrected some problems. They’re notorious for being very difficult to deal with. It was pulling teeth to get my refund when my bushings shit the bed in my Tacoma. They’ll blacklist a dealer if they sell the UCAs less than they say

    We just got the front windows tinted at 35% and added the chrome side rails (nerf bars). Next will be a 2 inch lift in front. Thinking about larger tires...20220920_170842 (1).jpg

    Good to know SPC has been having issues! Ive never had to deal with warranty but they used to be easy to deal with. Hope they get it together!

    I used to be a mechanic then flipped careers and now I just do side work out of my shop in the backyard. That being said, I have installed at least 30-40 of them haha. It is pretty straight forward. The remover tool is a must (it can be done without it but it is not worth the frustration). The installer tool they sell now takes the guess work out of it so highly recommend it. There are a ton of videos out there on the job. It can be done by just pulling the two lower bolts on the lower ball joint and popping the tie rod ends, removing the bump stop and just swinging everything out of the way. It is fast but not necessarily easy. A little more work but easier is to to the same thing but remove the caliper and wire it up, you can also pull the axle from the hub but that is a lot more work that is not worth it in my opinion. Also, always replace the seal.

    their’s enough flex to pull the axle out of the diff without removing from it from the hub? Then do you just move it to the side? Is it still easy to push/tap it back into the diff? If you have any pics with it removed like this, please post! Seems like a less putzy method compared to the usual ways Ive seen in the varios vids.

    Yep, with a little creativity it can be done. You pull it out then go up with the upper control arm and snake the axle end between the frame and the lower (that's why you remove the bump stop). I have another one coming in on Oct 6th. I will do a write up with pics similar to what I did with my BudBuilt slider install.

    Drove the 4Runner to the local dealership to order a 2023 Sequoia Limited OR. Maybe I'll see the new vehicle in the Spring of 2023. I guess it's ok. It will give me time to figure out if it makes sense to keep the 4R. The main factors at the moment that has me leaning towards selling the 4R is the price of the new sequoia and the overlap in capabilities of the 2 vehicles for my use.

    When I had my new tires put on the shop had them filled to about 50psi. Dropped them to about 35psi and it rides nice and smooth now.

    These are the additional angles I owe you of the box. Not much fits in there but it's still usable space. The second picture shows the 80/20 that goes from the back seat anchor to the top of the bottom box and then the mattress gap before ending and anchoring the top shelves. While maybe no interest to you, I added the driver rear door access and how a temporary 80/20 is used to secure the slats to extend the bed. When not in use that single piece is secured under the pegboard in the box behind the driver seat (not sure if you can make out the three brass screws on the pegboard, those secure that 80/20 piece). The last picture is extra, and what I did today--move the outlet to the inside so that it can be used while the hatch is closed. Hope that helps. If you have other questions let me know.

    @The Knitted Brow

    What a cool build out. Not a lot of room but in reality, you can get a lot of stuff that would normally go in bins on a roof rack in there.

    Where are you sourcing your 80/20 and fasteners? I've been looking into building a few small things and see if its for me. Then doing a rear seat removal 70/30 bed/fridge/table setup.

    I haven't looked around much but trying to figure out what material Goose Gear uses for their flooring builds. I'm considering plywood with a rubberized texture but would like something cleaner.

    Today I added a 120v inlet to charge the battery bank through the RedArc RedVision Battery Management System. Initially, I was going to install the inlet inside the front grill to be most stealthy but after numerous times of pulling the extension cord to the front to charge while at home the idea of installing it in the rear made more sense.

    By the way, the nice and clean black thing above the filter(?) is the duct for the moon roof drain. I did NOT know that then (because I have NO idea what I am doing and just pulling on things and seeing what happens) and pulled it out. Once out and looking through the hole I saw the pink tube, which I recall from when I disassemble the interior. Anyhow, using electrical lubricant I was able to get the tube back in the duct--I think and hope--fingers crossed. Otherwise, that interior would have to be pulled out (again) to connect those two. You're welcome.

    Nice build… side Note that is not an air filter. That is a cabin vent. When you close the doors you will see the vent flap open. You can find nice aftermarket ones online.
