Can you show more pictures of the box on driver side in cargo area? Looks great!

CMC? Running the same wheels on mine, but just have a 265 on for now. Going to a 285 here at some point in the near future.

After much trial and error (mostly error) I have resigned from trying to recycle soap-gray water. Now only going to put non-soap water in the water tank for drinking. In this new trial, I scored a water filter system upgrade from NoDirtyWater.com (NOT an endorsement), and currently on Flash Sale (plus they gave me another 15% off for I do NOT know why but NOT complaining). The upgrade includes a coconut charcoal filter and the previous 0.2-micron filter. With the upgrade, reinstalled the drinking water faucet (and another try at a plant in Mom's and Pop's memory). On a different project, a shout out to Front Runner's customer service for honoring the damaged footwell water tank with a brand new one at NO cost to me. Thank you Front Runner!

Just getting ready for the Overlanding season (for me--Fall-Spring).

Thanks for the complement. NOT knowing how much you want to see I uploaded what I have from the rear driver side. First, I disassembled the interior, seats, doors, hatch, and liner, top to bottom and wall to wall from front to rear, to install sound deading and wool insulation. Then put it all back (or what I could remember) and using original anchor (or attachment) points I build a frame with 80/20 extrusion aluminum. The box in the rear driver side is cedar wood (aside it looks nice it's function is insect and rodent repellant--so far it works, except for mosquitos) hinged on the bottom with a piano hinge and closed at top with kid-proof magnet locks in two sections. The lid is peg board secured with velcro to keep it in place offroad yet easy to get off for access. The space is limited but I found a home for a few things: 100' extension cord 12/3, jack base, road guard vest x2, rope, car jump/battery booster, duct tape... At the end is are 12v outlet (cigarette, USB, and SAE) on 10 AWG wire for up to 30amp draw (i.e. portable air compressor). The top shelves I left open using bungee cord to keep things from falling out, and the bottoms are pegboard too. All those choices to keep the top weight at a minimum. Hope that helps.

Didn't find any pictures of the box doors open to show the insides or pictures of the front end. In the next few days I will upload those too as it shows how the 80/20 is secured and oriented from the floor in order to leave that door available for use, as the rear passenger door has limited use. Additionally, the rear driver door access is modified to deploy the bed frame. If you have any specific pictures or details feel free to ask. Again, hope that helps.

Addendum: Forgot to mention, the height of the box (and the entire build) is to accommodate a port-a-potty toilet under the bed. Second, the gap between the box and shelves above the box is to accommodate the slats for a full-size bed.

Thanks for the compliment. Yes, similar...even the stories are similar. I too initially traveled alone, but since finding India, our dog, now it's the two of us. I do not own or want a tent, it's just more stuff, and why I sleep in the back. A common theme in those channels as well is, "How fast the setup is..." My rehearsed answer is, "You just spent two hours negotiating 2-5 miles of technical trail but you are obsessed with a fast setup." (The same with how fast they can air up tires. Slow down; the purpose of being out here is to get away from the rat RACE! But I digress). Anyhow, for me the setup is permanent. The only thing missing for me is the vehicle driving itself while I nap, use the bathroom, or bake cookies in the back (a bit of an exaggeration but doable). On another topic, my obsession is being able to bug out in the middle of the night if need to. Thus, at camp, I have a handful of items I bring out, like a chair and India's bed, and put them all away before sleep. Just in case, in the middle of the night, I need to jump into the driver seat, drive over any rocks chocking the tires and drive away. Thanks for the video. Yea, it's a good tutorial. Not knowing if you're considering a similar build but I found the 80/20 to be more forgiving than wood. Meaning, there are only so many screws/nails you can put into wood. With the extrusion you can disassemble and reassemble (rinse and repeat)--literally, your imagination is the limit.

I am actually. Extrusion is the only way to go for me. A lot rmeo forgiving if you need to adjust or want to change the configuration. I want mine to be reasonably easy to remove so that when its my wife and I going to our cabin in NM, it back to a normal configuration.

I'm a big guy with arthritis and a 65lb dog. RTT's are no bueno for me. I ground tent when with my wife and 3 dogs but have a terrific cot or air mattress.

Installed this phone mount I got from Best Buy and then took a really crappy photo of it
    1D420488-205D-4BCA-AFEC-1BB34CF3D8BB.jpg
It has a sticky tape ball mount and where I have it mounted allows modulation of the temp control knob and the transfer case shifter without interference with my smaller iphone SE.

I also went through and assessed all my EDC tools. Bought a new Rigid tool box that holds everything including my jumper cables and compressor.

i love how the box is the same height as the wheel well/shelf. I would get one just for that reason! I have a few for tools I should see if it works as well with the sliding tray, I bet it will be high.

Your stance looks great. I just picked ours up Saturday after ordering in April. I'm still on stock tires and my stance looks emaciated compared to yours. I am used to my 2013 Tacoma on aftermarket wheels though.
