Long story short I ordered a Fumoto Oil Drain Valve for my 2016 4 runner limited, and only when I went to change the oil today it didn't fit. Checked the packaging and they sent me the wrong part number!!! I ordered F133N and received F137N, and it clearly was not a metric thread.

Since I had already drained the oil and the original gasket was in pretty bad shape, I was stuck using an oil drain plug gasket meant for my 04 Tacoma. The OD and ID were exact same, however the standard gasket on 4runner appears to be aluminum with rubber coating while the gasket I had to use (meant for 04 Tacoma) I think is full rubber. I lowered the torque a bit because it's rubber not aluminum but why does the 4runner require aluminum gasket?? Heat? Has anyone used the normal full rubber gasket?? Think I'll run into issues with rubber gasket?

Changed the oil let the car run for a couple minutes and couldn't find any leak... so far

    Thanks in advance
