    You are doing 5k oil changes, right? If not, even with synthetics, this engine will live a lot longer with 5k changes.

    Yep. It's my second oil change.

    I know the manual says 10K intervals. And that the dealer/Toyota offers free oil changes up to 20K. I just can't bring myself to do either.

    I sit at a desk all day. Got to get my hands dirty sometimes right?

    Learning from last year's winter (that most of the battery is used between dinner, staying warm at night, and breakfast) decided to upgrade the battery bank from 200ah to 400ah. Surprisingly, despite doubling the amp hours the battery fits in the same space behind the driver regarding length and height, and the 1.25" extra in width intruding into the space behind the driver's seat is insignificant (at 5'5"). However, it did double in weight from 48lbs to 86lbs.

    Took WhiteWalker up to Greer Az to brake in the new lift today. It drove better than I expected but still a little stiff. Got 18.4 mpg so I'm pretty happy.

    Just under two hours. I took my time since it was the first time. I didn’t want to break clips. Watched the YouTube videos in the dedicated Dasaita thread and it was easy peasy. After reading the thread and tips on there it went seriously smooth.

    LOL! True story.

    Back in 2011 I decided to buy an FJ cruiser. I had never owned a truck or SUV but I was constantly frequenting the mountains to go camping, hiking and backpacking. After buying the FJ, someone mentioned an FJ forum where I might find others in Colorado that would let me join trail runs so I could learn what the FJ could do and get my own driving skills up to par. I joined the forum and went on a trail run with about 6-7 other FJ's. I was able to keep up in my stock FJ but after that run, I couldn't help but look at it and think it now looked like a body builder who never does leg day. I built up that FJ, then had to sell it due to money problems post a divorce. Since then I've had 2 lifted tacos and now the 4runner. I could blame the forum, but really I think I'm just a gear nerd at heart that likes to go places others can't. :cheers:

    Sure, office jobs can preserve the body compare to being out in the fields all day, but honestly just as easily wreck the body in different ways.
